About Certify The Web Certificate Manager

Certify The Web is certificate automation built for Windows servers. Its main product, Certify Certificate Manager, is a desktop app that requests, installs and renews SSL/TLS certificates for IIS and other Windows services. It works with Let's Encrypt and any other public or private certificate authority that supports ACME v2, and it handles single domain, multi-domain (SAN) and wildcard certificates using HTTP or DNS validation.

For larger estates there is Certify Management Hub, which runs on Windows, Linux and macOS. It can act as a central certificate manager with a web interface, or gather many Certificate Manager installs into one view. The current release at the time of writing is version 7.3.1.

You can download and evaluate the app with no feature limitations and no time limit, and installs run in evaluation mode until a licence key is applied. A Starter licence costs $59 USD for one year and covers unlimited certificates on one server. Professional costs $149 for up to three servers. Power Pro costs $649 a year for up to 50 servers and Enterprise $1,999 a year for up to 250, both including the Management Hub. A cloud managed licence is also sold through Microsoft Azure at $4.99 per install per month, and your servers do not need to run on Azure.

There is also Certify DNS, a hosted acme-dns service at $60 a year. You point a CNAME for each domain at it, and it answers ACME DNS challenges so you do not have to change your own DNS at every renewal.

Every licence includes unlimited certificates per server, email support tickets, renewal failure notifications and optional multi-server dashboard reporting. If a licence lapses, existing certificates keep renewing, but you cannot add new ones until it is renewed.

It is a good fit for Windows admins who would rather use a graphical tool than script an ACME client.
