Acceptable use
Use Prox without harming others.
Rules protecting members, providers, network operators, and the public proxy verification system.
You must not
Break the law; facilitate abuse; distribute malware; phish; harass; infringe rights; probe accounts; bypass access controls; interfere with the service; scrape authenticated areas; or submit deceptive, duplicated, or fabricated provider information.
Use the directory or its verification data to scan networks, overload endpoints, evade provider rules, or direct traffic to arbitrary third-party targets.
Publish credentials, personal data, secrets, unlawful material, unsafe executable content, or claims you cannot substantiate.
Public proxy list
A listed endpoint is not permission to use it. Recent connectivity does not establish operator intent, safety, privacy, or legality. Never send credentials, payment data, personal information, or sensitive traffic through an unknown endpoint.
Operators and network owners can request urgent suppression, correction, or removal. Suppression prevents republication after rediscovery.
Hosted browsers
The normal browser runs Chromium on a remote Prox server, so destination websites see the browser server instead of your home network address. The Tor browser sends the hosted browser connection through the Tor network. Neither browser uses endpoints from the public proxy list.
A hosted browser changes where web traffic comes from, but it cannot make every activity unidentifiable. Websites may still recognise details you voluntarily provide, accounts you sign into, cookies created during the session, or characteristics of the browser itself.
Use HTTPS whenever it is available, check the destination address before entering information, and close the session when you finish. Avoid entering payment details, recovery codes, private keys, or other high-value secrets into a remote browsing session.
Sessions are intended for ordinary interactive browsing. Do not automate them, exhaust shared capacity, attack systems, commit fraud, access accounts that are not yours, distribute malware, or bypass a website’s access controls.
Downloads remain inside the hosted session unless the interface provides an explicit download action. Treat files from unfamiliar websites as untrusted and scan anything you choose to save before opening it elsewhere.
Enforcement
Prox may preserve evidence, throttle or block activity, suspend accounts or listings, stop checks, and report credible threats where appropriate. Decisions should be proportionate and recorded in the audit trail.
